We come directly to you. A1 Glassworks operates as a fully mobile auto glass service. Whether you're at home, at the office, or anywhere else, we'll travel to your location and perform the repair or replacement right there on the spot for your convenience.

We're located in Pinellas Park and provide service to more than 45 communities across the Greater Tampa Bay area, covering Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties and surrounding regions.

We focus on windshield replacement and also provide service for side door glass, rear windshields, quarter glass, and rock chip repair. If you need auto glass work, we're here to help.

In most cases, yes, and often at no cost to you. Florida law (Statute 627.7288) requires insurers to cover front windshield repair or replacement with zero deductible if you have comprehensive coverage. We work directly with insurance providers and can assist you with the claims process, though you're also welcome to pay out of pocket if you'd prefer.

That depends on the size, depth, and location of the damage. Smaller chips and shorter cracks can usually be repaired quickly and cost-effectively. Repairing early can also prevent a chip from expanding into a larger crack that would require complete replacement. Send us a photo or call us and we'll advise you on the best course of action.

Most replacements are completed in about an hour or less. Once the installation is finished, we'll inform you of a brief safe drive-away time while the adhesive sets, which is usually around an hour depending on the adhesive type and weather conditions.

We don't recommend it. Your windshield serves as a structural component of your vehicle, supporting the roof and ensuring proper airbag deployment. A crack can also expand rapidly due to Florida's heat, road bumps, or temperature changes, and it may result in a traffic citation if it obstructs your view. It's best to have it inspected as soon as possible.

Yes, we provide a limited lifetime warranty covering any defects in the glass, air noise, and water leaks. If new damage occurs, we'll need to begin the process again with your insurance provider.
